What is the FPTU Admissions Engagement System?
This is a full-featured admissions engagement system built for FPT University Da Nang, combining a powerful web-based admin dashboard with a Zalo Mini App to digitize student recruitment and drive interaction.
The platform simplifies how the university collects, manages, and converts prospective leads through consultation forms, minigames, and quizzes — while enabling staff to track performance and rewards at scale. The system went live with over 20,000 visits during the first campaign.
Challenge
Designing a flexible, gamified recruitment system that works seamlessly across admin staff and mobile-first students required us to solve for:
- Multiple lead sources: Zalo access, registration forms, games, and quizzes
- Various user roles: admins, marketers, prospective students
- Real-time reward quota management for gifts and mini-contests
- Localization and performance for the Zalo Mini App platform
- Admin UX clarity with filters, batch exports, and status-based tracking
- Strong visual engagement for Gen Z while staying brand-consistent
What We Did
We developed an end-to-end ecosystem with:
- A modern web admin dashboard with filters, sorting, lead tagging, and Excel export
- Modules for managing Zalo-based leads, quiz entries, and minigame participation
- A visual reward quota tracker to monitor gift inventory and success rates
- A quiz builder with scoring logic, randomized answers, and prize logic
- A fully functional Zalo Mini App for mobile users to:
- Explore academic programs, scholarships, and tuition
- Register for admission counseling
- Play quizzes and spin the lucky wheel
- Read featured content and student life articles
- Backend: C#, .NET, PostgreSQL
- Web Admin: Next.js 15, HeroUI, Tailwind CSS
- Mobile App: Zalo Mini App platform (ZMP SDK)
Outcome
- Reached over 20,000 visits within a single campaign
- Generated hundreds of leads from multiple sources
- Simplified internal workflows with structured lead tracking and export
- Increased student engagement via interactive content and gamified rewards
- Enabled the university to run digital campaigns without external CRM tools

Final Thoughts
This project shows that even university admissions can be modern, mobile-first, and fun. We helped FPT University Da Nang digitize their lead funnel while staying close to Gen Z culture through games and interactive content.
With continued expansion across campaigns and additional features, this system sets a new standard for student engagement in Vietnam.
